ENTRADA IO4_POLICY REPORT_EN

27 4. To what extent do the resources fulfil the learning needs of adult educators in migrant training? ENTRADA’s educational path is seen both as a result in itself, but also as a driving force to activate new forms of civic participation of migrants in the life of our communities. The ability of partner organisations to network with other third sector organisations and with the public administration is also considered important, at the forefront of welcoming and integrating, above all, refugees and asylum seekers. The flexibility of the WebQuest method is appreciated and the possibility of using the resources available both for class groups, but also for individual sessions, as well as being able to calibrate and or adapt the challenge to the interests of young migrants involved in the path of inclusion. Below their quotes: • The promotion of greater inclusion that passes through education is often underestimated, considering as priority the access to work that often passes through informal channels or through personal direct acquaintances. • Dealing with topics of interest for them. • Interesting ideas for active participation can be created through the training promoted by Entrada. • Developing partnerships with public bodies and associations. • Young foreigners, if they do not study, are anxious to search for work, often with long and underpaid hours. Finding time for them to participate in long and highly structured training programs is not easy. But the ENTRADA WebQuests can also be proposed in individual work sessions, or in small groups of two or three people, so I think flexibility is a very important factor. 5. To which extent can front-line adult educators in your or other organizations integrate the project resources into their training and education activities? The indications received show a positive propensity to use ENTRADA’s learning resources in their daily practices. However, the equal need to strengthen the digital skills of social workers for an ever greater exploitation of the multiple resources created with the Erasmus + Programme should not be underestimated, especially in certain areas. Below their quotes: • They can be used as a valid tool for strengthening IT skills through the passage of relevant content for new citizens. • Sufficiently. • Certainly, as useful and intelligent tools. • They instil new skills and strengthen others. • Certainly, it is also a challenge for us, who use little new technologies in our professional performances. For intercultural mediation the empathic relationship with people is extremely important, easier in presence.
